Milna - the place on the western coast of the island, located in the cove of the same name.
Owing to many hills surrounding Milna, its harbour is protected from all winds except from pleasant summer mistrals, so it is the best natural harbour on the island. Therefore the ACI MARINA is located there. As a part of ACI marina, there is a 100 years shipyard that has been renewed and now bears a name of ACI BRODOREMONT - MILNA. Beautiful coves with sand and gravel beaches stretch along the coast (Pasika, Lucice, Osibova, Maslinova). There is a marvellous swimming beach in the cove Vlaska.
Milna - the biggest and the southernmost small town on the west coast of Brac.
Milna, the centre of the Community, is situated in a deep harbour, which consists of numerous small-cosy coves. There is an interesting small islet in front of Milna, named Mrdulja. The Municipality of Milna includes the town of Milna and four places Bobovisca on the sea, Bobovisca, Lozisca and Sutivan.
Stone built houses, neat little alleys, peace and quiet are the initial evidence of the cultural splendour of former times.
In fact, the town`s origins go back to the 17th.The baroque church, built in the 18th century, in which art and valuables are loving kept, is the most distinguished arcitectual, historical and cultural monument of the place.
The island`s coastline is a succesion of bays and inlets, ideal for letting down your anchor, for relaxing and indulging in some water-sport activity.
